JOB DESCRIPTION

Overall in charge of maintenance of bio-medical equipment of
the hospital and responsible for maintenance of the
functioning of the same within the hospital premises.
● To maintain co-ordination with other Departments
regarding usage, utilization and issues surrounding the
equipment.
● To co-ordinate with the equipment vendors or contractors
who hold the AMC/CMC/spares replacement warranty in
order to get the maintenance and repair work done for the
equipment.
● To allocate the duties for the day to the bio-medical
engineers, technicians and engineers and issue necessary
orders for the smooth functioning of the department round
the clock.
● Proper supervision for discipline.
● Co-ordination and Complete documentation with
equipment vendors and AMC for accessories purchase
,AMC /CMC contract and under warranty spares
replacement
● To train the team to the expected standard of hospital
administration.
● To responsible for complete bio-medical department
documentation as per NABH and JCI as well AMC audit
purpose
● To frequently make visits to different departments /areas
within hospital in order to ensure equipment functioning.
● To handle patient complaints if any.
