As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a pivotal role in
driving the growth of our company by generating and qualifying leads within the B2B
space. Your primary responsibility will involve outbound prospecting, engaging
potential clients, and setting up appointments or opportunities for the sales team.
You’ll be an integral part of the business development function, contributing directly
to the company’s revenue goals.
Utilize various channels (phone, email, social media) to conduct targeted
outreach to potential clients within the provided B2B database.
Research and identify key decision-makers and influencers within target
Any previous sales roles, particularly those involving outbound calling. This
could include roles in telemarketing, inside sales, or even direct sales where
relationship-building and persuasion were key elements.
Client Relationship Management:
Experience in managing client relationships, even if it’s not directly in a sales capacity.
Roles that involved communication, understanding client needs, and providing
solutions are valuable.
Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to assess their needs,
challenges, and potential fit for our products/services.
Qualify leads based on established criteria and effectively prioritize them for

Experience: Previous experience in a similar outbound sale, lead generation,
or customer-facing role is advantageous.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
Sales Acumen: Understanding of sales processes, lead qualification, and
Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
and proficiency in using various communication tools.
Resilience: Ability to handle rejection, persistency in outreach efforts, and a
positive, proactive attitude.
