EXPORT SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE – JD
Work Location Cochin
Annual CTC: 5 LPA to 6 LPA
Need to travel inbound and outbound.
As a Seafood Sales & Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for driving the sales of our diverse range of seafood products. This role involves:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. Getting market intelligence through networking.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to drive sales and brand awareness.
- Grow our seafood business in new markets, assess new sales opportunities in close consultation with the head office.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and competition to inform product development and pricing strategies. Ensure compliance with all relevant export regulations and laws.
- Generating enquires, helping senior management for sales bid
- Preparing offers based on market price and assumption costing
- Sales negotiation with buyer & buyer agents
- Sending order instruction to factory
- Ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of orders and outgoing containers
- Handle the order & shipment plan in close consultation with the Production – and Quality teams
- Proper communication with the commercial team, forwarding agents/shipping lines within the given internal framework / instructions
- Preparation & verification of export & import documentation including all relevant documents required for the export & import
- Dealing with Bank relating to export documentation, submission of documents.
- Coordination with Bank and DGFT / MEIS.
- Courier & Container Tracking
- Take care of labelling requirements of customers in close consultation with the Production – and QA teams
- Receiving international customers and guiding them around in a professional way so that they feel comfortable
- To keep track of invoices and other documents regarding the shipments and prepare the reports to expedite the billing process, complied with the regulations of accounting.
- Any other duties & responsibilities assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred
- 3-5 years’ experience in the Seafood industry, in a sales capacity – Handling international Sales
- Willing to travel extensively.
- Knowledge of shrimp and Cephalopods production.
- Ability to represent the brand in a professional manner, and effectively present information with potential customers, clients, and other stakeholders.
