Description
Roles & responsibilities:
Effective implementation of structural integrity at HZL level, ensuring usage of benchmark practices on corrosion management, surface structural painting & galvanizing, implementation of inspection practice including non-distractive practice and then affective remediation. Ensuring unplanned stoppage due to structural integrity should be zero, potential benefits of internal terms of metal volume around 20000 Tons.
§ The incumbent will be responsible for driving the “Structural Integrity” portfolio for HZL with key focus on developing inspection and maintenance strategies for Zero harm.
§ The incumbent will drive Structural assessment for stability of old infrastructures, renovation projects in order to avoid unforeseen circumstances like deterioration & abrupt failures.
§ The incumbent will be responsible to coordinate the activities of static equipment inspection & condition monitoring, Reviews inspection programs, Destructive & Non-Destructive Tests (NDT) and general surveys on systems such as pressure vessels, Storage Tanks, Pipelines, columns, reactors, stacks and chimneys, furnaces, steel structures and buildings etc. to ensure mechanical integrity by engaging the suitable business partners.
§ The incumbent will be responsible for developing HZL standards for various industrial painting, coating & in-situ Galvanizing.
§ The incumbent will be responsible to drive Structural Integrity Community” for HZL.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
§ Industrial knowledge of similar plants, team management skills for internal / external resources.
§ expert in NDT Practice like Dye penetrant test, rebound test for concrete, radiographic testing etc.
Educational Qualifications
§ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / civil / structural engineering.
