Identify acquisition opportunities

Develop the plan/ strategy for land acquisition (both Greenfield & Brownfield) across the country that is consistent with the overall business strategy and availability. Network with relevant stakeholders to get information on land.

Permits / Approval

Liaise with government, corporator s, villager to get the required permits / approvals for acquiring land to ensure business continuity.

Project Feasibility

Prepare financial analyses, market analyses, and reports for

projects under consideration for purchase.

Land acquiring

Negotiate with land owners and/or their agents. Review land / purchase agreements and documentation.

Community Development

Interact with local communities to create buy-in for acquiring land and provide other considerations, like employment, interfacing with local villages on CSR in exchange. Manage rehabilitation and resettlement to ensure peaceful and uninterrupted project execution.


Ensuring budgetary provisions are made and time horizon

defined which is in sync with Project Planning and Commissioning. Review deviations to agreed land acquisition budgets and timelines on a   periodic basis.

Land related Policies& Consultants

Create and review policies for land acquisition at   a pan India level. Identify, appoint and review land   acquisition consultants.

New Projects (Cement Plants, Mines & Grinding Units) Approvals/ Permissions

To obtain permissions/approvals for new projects from Mines, Industry, Environment, Pollution Control Board, Railways, Ground Water, Change of Land Use and engaging Consultant for conducting different studies

required for projects.

To formulate, guide and oversee implementation of Human Resource and Employee Relations Plans , design and formulate policies and   develop a culture of trust, openness, teamwork, transparency and empowerment, in order to create a performing and learning unit as per business requirement and in line with Groups HR policy at Harish Cement Ltd at Sundernagar, Distt. Mandi (HP), as well as at proposed Grinding unit at Rajpura, Dist Patiala, Punjab.

FH Projects (LA & Liaisoning)

To formulate successful strategy to purchase / acquire land for upcoming cement projects in budgeted cost, liaison for getting sanction of new mines, settlement of legal cases, statutory clearance, plan and ensure efficient management of finances including costs, develop and implement systems and procedures in commercial, financial and IT functions to enable management controls for achieving targeted financial



FH Mines Strategic LA&Liaison

To guide & interact with Mining team on all India basis for mining related issues for LACL   projects. Strategic Planning to suggest Limestone deposits acquisition under PL-cum-ML, ML through   auction/bidding as per new Govt. Policy. To look after Prospecting operations & suggest exploration methodology. To formulate, develop strategy for Land Acquisition   and implement all systems & procedures related to Land Acquisition for


mines, cement plant & grinding unit sites for LACL projects looked after by Senior   Executive President. To co-ordinate/monitor/take action for   permissions required for LACL   projects looked after by SEP for environment, pollution control, Industry, Mines, Revenue, Ground Water & engagement of Consultants for conducting various studies.

DH LA & Liaising

1. Acquiring Mining Leases of Limestone and Coal for Greenfield/Brownfield/Existing Projects / Units. 2. Development of Greenfield Projects and obtain necessary statutory clearances for the projects. 3. Assisting in Land Acquisition to organize, plan and execute the land acquisition for   Greenfield Projects. 4. Liaison with Government Authorities for project and

existing unit related issues.

Responsible for providing secretarial, clerical and administrative   support to Sr. EP in order to ensure that services are provided in day to day activities in an effective and efficient manner.


DH Land and Liaison


For Solar, site locations will be Bhuj, Gujarat and Fatehgarh, Rajasthan &

>For wind it will be Bhuj, Gujarat and Koppal, Karnataka.
