Identify acquisition opportunities
Develop the plan/ strategy for land acquisition (both Greenfield & Brownfield) across the country that is consistent with the overall business strategy and availability. Network with relevant stakeholders to get information on land.
Permits / Approval
Liaise with government, corporator s, villager to get the required permits / approvals for acquiring land to ensure business continuity.
Project Feasibility
Prepare financial analyses, market analyses, and reports for
projects under consideration for purchase.
Land acquiring
Negotiate with land owners and/or their agents. Review land / purchase agreements and documentation.
Community Development
Interact with local communities to create buy-in for acquiring land and provide other considerations, like employment, interfacing with local villages on CSR in exchange. Manage rehabilitation and resettlement to ensure peaceful and uninterrupted project execution.
Budget
Ensuring budgetary provisions are made and time horizon
defined which is in sync with Project Planning and Commissioning. Review deviations to agreed land acquisition budgets and timelines on a periodic basis.
Land related Policies& Consultants
Create and review policies for land acquisition at a pan India level. Identify, appoint and review land acquisition consultants.
New Projects (Cement Plants, Mines & Grinding Units) Approvals/ Permissions
To obtain permissions/approvals for new projects from Mines, Industry, Environment, Pollution Control Board, Railways, Ground Water, Change of Land Use and engaging Consultant for conducting different studies
required for projects.
